Hani Saqr

Saqr is an Egyptian-American screenplay writer, producer, and director with more than 10 years of experience in the US and the Middle East. He is a pioneer of the independent film movement in Egypt. Saqr is an assistant film professor at the City College of New York. 
His work includes award-winning feature films that have been screened in major international film festivals such as Cannes, Toronto, and London.
He holds under his belt more than 5 features and more than 30 short films.
Saqr carries a BA in social science from Cairo University, Egypt & MFA in film from the City College of New York, USA
